1/OFF Paris

During my internship at 1/OFF Paris, I was hired as a design intern and quickly found myself immersed in a wide variety of projects throughout the company. From helping to open a pop-up shop in Selfridges London to working closely with the design team on the creation of the new collection, I was able to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the fashion industry.

One of the highlights of my internship was being involved in the development of various ideas for fashion week in Paris. I had the opportunity to collaborate with other team members and contribute my own creative concepts, which was incredibly rewarding. Additionally, I gained valuable insight into the show room process, including how products are presented to potential buyers and the steps taken to secure sales.

As an upcycling company, 1/OFF Paris has a unique approach to fashion that I found particularly inspiring. By using vintage high-end garments to create new collections, the company is making a positive impact on the environment while also creating beautiful, high-quality clothing. During my internship, I had the chance to closely examine the development process within an upcycling company and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry.

Overall, my time at 1/OFF Paris was an incredibly enriching experience that allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I feel grateful to have been a part of such a forward-thinking and innovative company, and I look forward to applying the skills and knowledge I gained during my internship to future endeavors in the fashion industry.

After completing my internship at 1/OFF Paris, I was hired as a freelance all-round creative to assist with Amsterdam Fashion Week. In this role, I contributed to various aspects of the production process, including assisting with the designs for the runway collection, managing the backstage area during the show and overseeing production and distribution at the office. It was a great opportunity to further develop my skills and gain valuable industry experience.
